S is for Scribing

In this miniseries I’ll be talking each week about one of the stages of the Miracle Morning SAVERS!

This time it’s up to Scribing

The last part of the SAVERS is consists of writing. And there are of course a lot of things to write, books, grocery lists or maybe a letter to the one you love. But in the Miracle Morning they cover this last S with Journaling. Now a lot of people have kept a journal or a diary at one point in their lives, or at least they tried. But it’s not as easy as you’d think in reality, is it?

SAVERS – R is for Reading

In this miniseries I’ll be talking each week about one of the stages of the Miracle Morning SAVERS!

This time it’s up to Reading

Reading is a very important part of the Miracle Morning. After all one of the goals is to structurally improve yourself. This all comes from the thought that you need to improve yourself before you can expect to go further in live.

Do you want to read more but you can’t find the time? In that case Miracle Morning is a great way to work through your reading list.

Short introduction

Like Henk mentioned before, I’ll be writing some blogs in the near future about ‘the road to the halve marathon’. But before I start with that I thought I’d introduce myself. My name is Gerwin Mulder, I’m 22 years old. I work as a representative and have a pretty active outlook on live. After a couple years of field football and a couple seasons of indoor football, I started focussing on running.

SAVERS – E is for Exercise

In this miniseries I’ll be talking each week about one of the stages of the Miracle Morning SAVERS!

This time it’s up to Exercise

Relax!

Relax! Those were the mitigating words of our great trainer Marcel  at the bootcamp club tonight. It’s around 19.15, rain is falling from the sky with buckets at a time, thunderstorm is gaining on us. We’re drenched and covered in grass after a very though series of diamond pushups. And those words: Relax!

A is for Affirmation

In this miniseries I’ll be talking about the stages of the Miracle Morning SAVERS!

This week I’d like to discuss the A of Affirmations.

It’s one of the parts that took some getting used to in the beginning. You take an affirmation from the Miracle Morning book or right one yourself. Then it’s just of daily repetition. You make yourself believe that what your telling yourself is or will be the truth! What was hard for me was saying out loud what you would like to happen in the future. For the down to earth Dutch guy that I am this was a bit of a struggle:-)

S for Silence

In this miniseries I’ll be talking each week about one of the stages of the Miracle Morning SAVERS!

Today it’s all about the first S. The first S stands for Silence. You can interpret that in a number of

ways. For example literally spending some time in silence. A quiet moment before you start your

(busy) day. In that moment there are no stimuli, and no need to run or hurry, the only things there

are you and silence. Even if you just get 10 minutes of silence, it’ll make a great difference during the day!

We are born in a clear field but die in a dark forest.

This quote (by Robbert Harris) kept me busy for quite a while. It seems
gloomy, yet I like it. And even if you are really positive minded, there is
truth to it. As a child everything seems easy, but as you grow up, more
problems present themselves.

However, in this quote the problems are described as trees. This is great
as it brings the solution for those problems as well. In the quote, but
also in real life!
