It’s a matter of perspective!

Positive thinking, very important. Problems are challenges and such. Sounds easy but that’s not always how it works.

First of all, good luck if you’re only looking for methods that always work. And furthermore, it usually works. Off course, everyone has days when everything seems to go wrong. Even so, it all depends on how you look at it…. Some examples from the last couple of days:

* Wow, it’s cold, 0 C, how will we survive. -> Wow, 0 C, a little lower and we’ll be able to skate! (more…)

Happy New Year

Dear friends,
For the new year, I hope all will go well for you… Or, wait a minute… All? Better be careful with what we wish, it might come true…
What kind of person would you be if everything went right for you? If from the day you were born everything would come easily?
A spoiled, weak one? Right! We need challenges and even failure. Therefore I wish you…

Goal setting thoughts

Aside from clear, measurable goals, how you move through life is important, I think. When thinking about what’s important for me, I go to the things below… I’d love to hear your thoughts about what’s important for you!

-be the change. a simple mantra, but a tremendously valuable truth. You’d like to make the world into a better place? Let ALL your actions be in line with that. And those words: Relax!

A is for Affirmation

In this miniseries I’ll be talking about the stages of the Miracle Morning SAVERS!

This week I’d like to discuss the A of Affirmations.

It’s one of the parts that took some getting used to in the beginning. You take an affirmation from the Miracle Morning book or right one yourself. Then it’s just of daily repetition. You make yourself believe that what your telling yourself is or will be the truth! What was hard for me was saying out loud what you would like to happen in the future. For the down to earth Dutch guy that I am this was a bit of a struggle:-)

We are born in a clear field but die in a dark forest.

This quote (by Robbert Harris) kept me busy for quite a while. It seems
gloomy, yet I like it. And even if you are really positive minded, there is
truth to it. As a child everything seems easy, but as you grow up, more
problems present themselves.

However, in this quote the problems are described as trees. This is great
as it brings the solution for those problems as well. In the quote, but
also in real life!
